MacroAir Blades
MacroAir offers three high performance patented airfoil blade designs made from anodized extruded aluminum with blade lengths from 4 to 12 feet (diameters are 8 to 24 feet).
The Whisperfoil XL™ delivers all the performance of our standard Whisperfoil™ blade but with even more air displacement due to its increased chord length. Both blades are extremely efficient, quiet and move the right amount of air with minimal air disruption directly below the fan. The Airvolution™ Line is manufactured to optimize the comfort of people by delivering the perfect, non-disruptive breeze. The MaxAir™ Line is a high velocity system designed to deliver even greater airflow for special applications.
The Wickerbill™ design was our first airfoil blade and we still offer fans using the unique airfoil shape. The Wickerbill’s unique design properties delivers excellent air flow and was initially used with the purpose of moving air downward. However, the Wickerbill does not perform as well in reverse. For that reason, we do not use the Wickerbill design to move air “up” … push air off the ceiling and circulate down the walls.

Universal Mounting System
MacroAir’s Innovative Universal Mounting System completely isolates the rest of the fan unit and all its components from the mounting point downwards.

MacroAir Control Panels
Proprietary control panel designs feature Variable Frequency Drives to drive all Airvolution™ and MaxAir™ fans.

Safety
Safety first! Our engineers have developed several built-in safety features:
- Our new 6 Blade Fans feature our latest MacroAir Two Part Interlocking Safety System™, patent pending.
- Patented L-shaped Safety Clips prevent the hub and blades from falling from the fan unit, should the unit fail.
- Safety Links prevent the blades from falling individually or together.
- Collet-Type Friction Bushings allow controlled slippage in the event of failure.
Warranty
All MacroAir fans come with a lifetime warranty on blades and hubs, twelve years prorated on all other components, and one year on labor.
